Diagon Alley

As soon as we arrived, I dashed off to look at Quality Quidditch Supplies, I marvelled at how many different brooms and robes there were. I decided that when I could, I would get myself a nice Nimbus 2000, it was beautiful. You can find this Nimbus 2000 here.

I was very sad when I realised that I wouldn't be allowed on the House team or a broom... oh well, it gave me something to look forward to.

Once we had gotten my muggle money converted and got a vault in Gringotts, we first went to Ollivanders wand shop to get my wand. It didn't take too long to get my wand.

My wand is: Oak, 13 3/4 inches, Dragon Heartstring, whippy and nice for Charms work.

After that, we went to Flourish and Blotts to buy my school books. I also admit to having bought some other books which were of great interest.

After buying all of my school things, as a present for getting into Hogwarts, my mum and dad bought me an owl from Eyelops Owl emporium. They bought me a beautiful Tawny Owl, whom I named Albus, out of respect of the late Albus Dumbledore.

We bought my school supplies a few days before my departure and put most of my stuff straight into the trunk. I read a bit about Magical Passtimes and discovered how to make pictures move. So I created a potion to make the picture animated and took a photo of my parents and framed it for them. I practised a few spells from my books and practised writing with my new quills.

Soon enough, the time came for me to depart for Hogwarts. My mum and dad took me to kings cross and saw me onto the train after our goodbyes.
