Luella had set us up! But we had expected it. We weren’t sure how much Prof. Malfoy knew, but we were sure that Luella had told him everything.
“Hand over the evidence,” we didn’t move, “I SAID hand it over.”
We had also expected this and hadthe fake notes that were in actual fact the doodles I had swiped from Luella in History of Magic.
“Here you go.” Sam handed over the doodles, “Just to say, I think you’ve got it all wrong. We came…” Sam didn’t get to say anymore before Prof. Malfoy turned on Luella.
“What is this? Luella, you told me that these students were doing illegal activities! The notes that these girls have are merely doodles! You,” He pointed at Laurie, “Explain!”
“Well, you see Professor, we came down here to do some sketching competitions. These were some of our previous ones to compare,” she took her sketch book and some chocolate frog cards out of her bag, “here are some of the sketches from last week. We also came down here to trade some chocolate frog cards.”
“Professor, that’s not what…” Luella started. She never managed to finish as Prof. Malfoy started to scold her.
“Luella, I can not believe that you have accused your fellow pupils of doing illegal activities with the intention of having them expelled. I have never been so disappointed with a student, let alone one from my own house!”
Prof. Malfoy took Luella by her ear and lead her back to the castle.
"Ow ow ow ow ooooooooow!!!!" Luella threw us a death stare.
"Oh shut up Rencor."
We waited until they were out of earshot and then fell around laughing.
"Amazing Laurie! You did that perfectly! I never knew that you could lie so well!"
"I wasn't lying, I merely stretched the truth, I was going to do some sketching afterwards."
"Well, as far as I am concerned, I don't care what you call it! But I think that we should start doing what we were planning before anyone else comes down."
